Resource Treatment Technology for Ammonia-Nitrogen Effluent
Beijing Cycle Columbus Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. exclusively possesses the licensed ammonia-nitrogen removal technology developed by the Institute of Process Engineering, CAS. This treatment technology has been further developed to meet different end users’ demands. A series of breakthroughs have been made in reducing the cost of equipment and improving the degree of operation automation, among which is the integrated anti-clogging technology for rectifying tower used for high-concentration ammonia-nitrogen effluent(1~70 g/L) treatment.
With the recovery rate for ammonia-nitrogen of this anti-clogging technology has reached the world top level, this integrated technology has already been used to provide important technical support for pollution reduction in the non-ferrous metallurgical industry.
For the “three phases of wastes” in the non-ferrous metal industry, our novel technical route “Pollution source analysis-- Cleaning process -- Resources recovery-- Safe disposal” is implemented to control pollution at each step and realize minimum comprehensive cost procedure.
Flow chart of treatment technology for ammonia-nitrogen wastewater
Our resource treatment technology of ammonia-nitrogen effluent has been applied in Vanadium (V), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni), Zirconium (Zr), Niobium (Nb), Tantalum (Ta) and rear earth industries. This technology brings benefits such as improving the recovery rate of NH3 to >99% and reducing consumption of ammonia for 80%. The test results indicated that the NH3-N level of the treated water has met national standard (<15 mg/L), and can reach less than 10 mg/L per client’s request. With the satisfaction of environment requirement, the technology also brings economic benefit to the clients. It has been granted several national level prize.
